My main struggles for Math before tuition was that I did not understand the concepts well and did not know why must the questions be done this way. However, when Aidan tutor taught me, I immediately understood everything. Aidan's teaching style is very unique and effective, with the usage of a tablet so that I can easily see the workings and steps he wrote out clearly. Aidan is also very patient and even though sometimes I could not understand the concepts, he would slowly go through it with me again and he would not get frustrated about it, which made me feel less anxious and made me more comfortable to ask him more questions without being afraid of being scolded. Aidan also gave me a very helpful cheatsheet which listed all the Mathematical formulas, which made it extremely convenient for me to look for the specific math formulas. It also made it easier for me to memorise the math formulas as everything is on one sheet of paper. Overall, Aidan is an excellent tutor, one of my favourite tutor I have ever had and helped me get A1 for both E Math and A Math for O Levels and I would strongly recommend him to anybody who is currently struggling in Maths.

Dear Aidan,

You started teaching Iman Math at a point when she was struggling to understand the concepts, at a time when she did not like the topic. She used to be fearful of her Math exams as that was the subject she liked the least. Ever since you started coaching her, in 2018, what impressed me was firstly-how Iman opened up to you. Being an introvert and someone who doesn’t open up to others easily, Iman slowly opened up to you and trusted you. You not only became her teacher but a trusted friend. She started looking forward to her Math tuition classes with you and eventually that translated to her starting to understand and liking the subject. 3 years on, you are still there, consistent, assuring, kind and a good friend not only to her but the family. 3 years on, she is scoring As for her Math and I have only you to thank for.
